Palm Museum brings together 92 authentic museum 3D scans and 60 paintings by artists including Van Gogh, Monet and Vermeer. Rotate and examine three-dimensional works; zoom into paintings to explore composition and brushwork. Images and bilingual audio guides for all 152 works are available offline, while AR lets you place objects on a floor or table and paintings on a wall.

This app is independent and is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, the institutions listed. It uses reusable 3D scans and artwork images published by each institution, with source and licence credited on every work.

Rotate, zoom and relight 3D works, or pan across a painting and return to the full view. Explore form and surface, composition and brushwork in detail.
Audio guides for all 152 works
Every work includes English and Japanese text and synthesized audio with context and viewing notes. Listen offline and switch languages at any time.
AR for floors, tables and walls
On supported devices, place a 3D object on a floor or table, or hang a painting on a wall. Adjust scale and orientation, listen to its guide and save an AR photo.
Keep your own record
Save favourites and write notes on individual works as you go. Quizzes about the collection are included.
Sources you can trace
Every work lists its holding institution, source, licence and official record. Reusable materials come from the Smithsonian Institution, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Cleveland Museum of Art and the Art Institute of Chicago.

Three 3D models are bundled; other 3D models and high-resolution painting images can be downloaded when needed and remain viewable while cached. AR requires a supported device and camera access.
