Forty years ago the harbour town of Shizugane sank into the sea, bell tower and all, on a night of storms. As a nameless diver you descend from the salvage ship Kamome-maru in a diving bell and drill your way down. Sand pours in, rubble collapses, lava hardens black where it meets water — every dig reshapes the seabed in this physics-driven digging adventure. Watching your lamp oil and air, you work through six depths, from the shallows to the great bell at the bottom of the trench, recovering 43 relics and 15 keepsakes that slowly give the townspeople their voices back. Salvaged parts bring the clock tower and the organ back to life and rebuild the lighthouse and archive at the port. Creatures always telegraph before they strike, and Relaxed Mode removes injury and theft entirely so you can simply dig in peace. One-handed, portrait play. A one-time purchase with no ads and no in-app purchases, fully playable offline.
