We began on October 22, 2025, in a single small room in Nihonbashi, Tokyo — holding a technology whose shape was still forming, and a single line to steer by: to open up imagined futures through film.

In this first year we have worked on more than 140 productions and received more than twenty-two awards in Japan and abroad. We now publish nine of our own games and apps, several of which have reached the upper ranks of the App Store and Google Play, along with free creator tools and a public disaster-preparedness site. Our work has reached nine countries and regions. None of it would exist without the clients who trusted us, the players who picked up our games, and everyone who has helped along the way.

To mark the anniversary we have made a short film, and from Thursday, October 16 through Wednesday, November 4 it will play on outdoor screens in New York, Shibuya and Yokohama — fragments of the worlds built over this first year, passing above three cities on either side of an ocean.

We chose billboards deliberately. Film, we think, is not something you ask permission to watch; it is something that catches your eye while you are walking and makes you stop. We wanted it to reach not only people seated in front of a screen, but someone crossing an intersection in New York, someone pushing through the crowd in Shibuya, someone walking by the water in Yokohama.

If you pass by, we hope you will look up.

Into our second year, we intend to keep our footing — not swept along by the technology, and not losing sight of the one thing that matters: the wish to tell a story worth watching.
