The book tests common CG breakages — in skinning, compositing, lighting and procedural assets — through 27 reproducible experiments built in Blender 4.3.2 and Python, and gives a production verdict for each. It includes 28 runnable Python scripts and 27 companion videos, one for each chapter.
It is written for intermediate technical artists, riggers, compositors and game developers who know their way around Blender and can read about 40 lines of Python. A Japanese edition is available at the same time.
Publishing is a new line of work for us, and we plan to keep turning what we test in production into books.
